Uno strano personaggio incontra lo sguardo del passante che percorre i canali di Amsterdam. Un airone cinerino, posato placidamente su una barca coperta contro la pioggia, osserva placidamente l'andirivieni calmo e sereno di una mattinata di sole dei primi giorni di agosto.

The first photo I took in Paris, when I was there all alone. The sky was darkening, and I was so depressed that I could not even breathe. Suddendly the Eiffel Tower came up to my eyes. Since then, my vacation was starting.

This is almost one of the last pictures taken in Paris. Les Invalides, a little fountain, the snow falling down on me. No other words.
